God’s presence.

Why are you here?

You are designed by God to be on this earth. You were designed to walk with God in everything you do. Think about that for a moment. You are here for no other reason but to walk with God, live your life with God, and to glorify God’s name in everything. When were you told this by your parents? Did your parents even know? Now you know.

I often live my days not thinking of God’s presence. Yep, yours truly. My awareness of God can be conditional at times when I need something, or something is wrong, or I’m struggling. God is always with me, but I am not always with God. This life is not an accident or the result of some evolution of compounds and chemicals. You claim you believe in God, but you live your life with your own desires and self-preservation. How little we give to God. You can change this today, this hour, this minute. Now.

God’s presence is surrounding you with every breadth. He will never leave you. God will never forsake you, nor fail you. Why do you seek man-made things? There is nothing on this earth that can add to God’s presence. The cross around your neck? The bible verse tattooed on your arm? The Christian shirt you wear? or the rosary you hold unto. What will it take for you to finally stop putting man-made things between you and God. Think!

I write these words because I too want to feel the presence of God, and the only thing keeping yourself from sensing and experiencing God’s presence is you. God does not change. His presence with you and I is the same each and everyday – every second. Walk with God. Stop and pray with all your heart and mind. Its time to be near God. Read the bible and call out to your Holy Spirit in you to open your eyes and mind to God’s presence. You are blessed, because he wakes you up every morning.

Remind yourself today the God is with you, beside you, inside you.

You were designed by God to walk with Him. Please do not ignore, nor turn yourself away from God. He loves you.

To the woman and man that choose to focus on Satan’s agenda, trying to empower themselves with earthly knowledge to be smarter and self-confident, woe to you for your foolish acts and self-preservation. Woe to the ladders you build, believing you will be wiser and closer to God. Change your heart and mind today, reject the pride in you. Rip away the thick walls around your heart. Let go, and surrender to Jesus.

You were designed by God.

my loving parents saw me struggle in school with a speech impediment, shyness, and a feebleness that made me easy prey for bullies. in third grade I was placed in a Christian school in la mirada, california called lindsey school. it was here I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart in June 1974. since that day I have journeyed through countless trials, deep valleys, high mountains, life-changing paths, and open doors, learning what it means to be a true follower of Christ. I am not religious, but a bible believing Christian. there is nothing i can do to get into heaven except place all of my faith in Jesus Christ as my God, my Savior, and my Friend. Christ paid the penalty for my sins with His death on the Cross, and rose from the grave three days after so my last breadth on this earth will be my first breadth in Heaven. until that day comes, i am here to love and glorify God in my daily walk and lead others to do the same. i am far from perfect in this short life, but I know God's grace is infinite and gives me the hope to finish this race with crowns. Amen.
