“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeramiah 1:5Written approximately in 626 BC, the Lord called upon Jeremiah to prophecy about five years before Josiah king of Judah turned the nation toward repentance from idolatry.

How difficult is it for you to believe God already knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb? Truly, this is where your unconditional faith is tested. Can you explain or comprehend this biblical fact with human logic? Kudos for trying, but the answer is a resounding no! This is why faith gives you and I the ability to believe with trust without conditions. Faith is beautiful.

Theologians continue to attack this Truth with human logic, by proclaiming and wrongly interpreting we’re already “predestined” to be with Christ in Heaven, becuase He chose – selected – us already to be with Him in Heaven, implying we’re already saved and the blood redemption of Christ Jesus from the Cross is unnecessary or serves a different purpose. This is absolutely false and needs to be rejected. Clearly the Truth is God has predestined – chose, determined, and formed – every soul to be Christlike in His image to serve and glorify Him.

Jeremiah 1:5 and other verses throughout the Bible makes it clear God chose you before your existence on this planet, BUT! have you chosen God? I’ll address this in more detail in later chapters, but allow me to briefly explain: without free-will given to us by God in Genesis, love in each of us would not exist, and human beings alive would all be like robots already programmed to say the words and do the things set by God. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden from then onward we as a human race have been separated from God from the time we enter into this world from the womb, and until the day comes for each of us to become self-aware and believe in God’s love, the gift of Salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the presence of the God’s Divine Holy Spirit, we as human beings have the freedom of choice to accept or reject.

Remember, God conceived you first, then came the sin of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, and then the separation from God in the flesh losing the Christlike image, and now we need a Savior to remove this separation from God, and reclaim each of us as a Child of God. Yes! you have been predestined to be with Christ in Heaven, but you must believe and accept the Gift of Salvation through Christ without condition and partiality. It’s called Salvation, because we enter into this world condemned to hell. God conceived you first. Will you reject this biblical fact and put your faith in something else? I hope not.

my loving parents saw me struggle in school with a speech impediment, shyness, and a feebleness that made me easy prey for bullies. in third grade I was placed in a Christian school in la mirada, california called lindsey school. it was here I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart in June 1974. since that day I have journeyed through countless trials, deep valleys, high mountains, life-changing paths, and open doors, learning what it means to be a true follower of Christ. I am not religious, but a bible believing Christian. there is nothing i can do to get into heaven except place all of my faith in Jesus Christ as my God, my Savior, and my Friend. Christ paid the penalty for my sins with His death on the Cross, and rose from the grave three days after so my last breadth on this earth will be my first breadth in Heaven. until that day comes, i am here to love and glorify God in my daily walk and lead others to do the same. i am far from perfect in this short life, but I know God's grace is infinite and gives me the hope to finish this race with crowns. Amen.
